Excursion to Mount Etna

Etna welcomes visitors all year round, with its resplendent colours, ski slopes, cycling routes and hiking trails through the woods.

Known as "A'Muntagna", the Mountain, by the locals, Etna is the largest active volcano in Europe, standing at an indomitable 3,350 metres, and is visible from many of the towns and cities in eastern Sicily.

The Etna Park was created in 1987 and declared a World Heritage Site for its mysterious intensity, its slopes covered with vegetation and the spectacular lava fountains of its periodic eruptions.
